Vagabond Cottage is a unique cottage that is not on the Bellwood Farm, in a secluded spot off the grid from any coms and a trout fishing haven for experienced fly fishermen.

On the banks of Lake Lynhurst which covers 84 hectares and is liberally stocked with trout, Vagabond Cottages is, 18 km for Nottingham Road and 16 km from Bellwood, 4×4 required for access.

Vagabond cottage comprises:

  • Accommodation for 5 people
  • 1 double or 2 twin beds upstairs
  • 3 single beds in the attic
  • 1 shower room with toiletries such as shampoo and soap are supplied
  • A fully equipped gas kitchen with tea, coffee and sugar provided
  • A verandah overlooking the dam with garden furniture and a fully equipped built-in braai
2 nights minimum stay

In addition, we provide our guests with:

  • A cleaning service at the beginning and end of your stay
  • Gas Fridge/Freezer and lighting 
  • Open fireplace
  • Linen

Please may we remind you:

  • No smoking is permitted in the cottage
  • Please bring your own towels
  • No pets are allowed
  • Check-in time 2:00 pm, it is advised to not check-in later than 4 pm due to the condition of the road to the cottage. Check-out time 10:00 am. Collect and return keys to Bellwood

    2. The minimum of two nights applies only to Friday and Saturday nights
    3. All minimum charges on cottages increase over high seasons including long weekends, Easter, Christmas, New Year and weekends such as Midmar/Comrades, etc.
