Hadeda
Hadeda is our fully self-contained dam cottage with all the essential facilities and extra touches to ensure your stay is welcoming and comfortable.
Hadeda is situated between the wedding venue and the Boma and is ideal for your wedding guests. The gardens around the wedding venue and cottages have been beautifully landscaped and maintained with manicured lawns down to the dam. Many a friendly cricket match has been held on the laws outside Hadeda with the older folks enjoying a chilled wine and cheering the kids on from the front veranda.
The 5 cottages around the dam each sleep between 14 – 16 guests (4 or 5 bedrooms and a loft).
Each cottage comprises:
- 2 double bedrooms downstairs (except for Heron which has 3 bedrooms)
- 2 double bedrooms upstairs
- Loft with 6 single beds
- 2 bathrooms with toiletries such as shampoo and soap are supplied
- A fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee and sugar provided
- A verandah overlooking the dam with garden furniture and a fully equipped built in braai for those misty/rainy nights

In addition we provide our guests with:
- A cleaning service between 9 am and 11 am
- A row boat for each cottage on the banks of the dam
- Open fireplace (with wood provided for your 1st night)
- Electric blankets on all beds and wall heaters
- Linen and towels
- Cots and high chairs on request
- DSTV Hotel Bouquet package
Please may we remind you:
- No other SIM cards, decoders, DVD players and Playstations are allowed
- No smoking is permitted in any of the cottages
- Please bring your own swimming towels
- No day visitors please, unless prior permission is obtained from Bellwood Management and a levy of R50 per person may be charged depending on the numbers invited
- No pets are allowed
- A nanny service is available upon request
- Check-in time 2:00pm and Check-out time 10:00am

- The minimum of two nights applies only to Friday and Saturday nights
- All minimum charges on cottages increase over high seasons including long weekends, Easter, Christmas, New Year and weekends such as Midmar/Comrades, etc.
- All rates quoted include 15% VAT
- Balance of payment is due on arrival

The Boma, set on the banks of the dam with its magnificent sunset views, provides an ideal setting for pre- and post-wedding get-togethers as well as birthdays, team-building events or other celebrations and occasions around a large firepit. If a party books 2 or more cottages, use of the Boma can be secured at no extra charge.
