Stephanie & Joshua

Josh and I got married at the beginning of June, just after the first snow fall. I am not one to use the words ‘perfect’ or ‘dream’ when it comes to describing our wedding purely because marriage is something I had never wanted or considered….until I met Josh. We met, funnily enough, at a wedding and despite dating long distance for quite some time there was a crazy love that grew from strength to strength. So when he asked me to be his wife the happiness and excitement was soon met with anxiety and an avalanche of decision making.

Venue was of course one of our priorities and after much internet research we came up with a short list of possibilities, one of which was Bellwood. What makes Bellwood so perfect is that it really is a blank canvas. No matter who you are or what your taste the venue has the ability to make just about anything and everything look amazing and needless to say we were both immediately taken by the rolling hills, sparkling dam and of course the beautiful chapel and reception hall. We were also looking for a venue that could accommodate our family and friends and having said this, booked out the entire farm for our day.

I could go into detail about how much fun we had and how special the day was but I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

To Bellwood and its’ staff, thank you for providing the gorgeous backdrop and friendly assistance for the Smiths and to my husband Joshua, thank you for your love, patience and understanding throughout the wedding planning process, may Bellwood always hold a blessed and happy memory in our hearts xxx
